Rates
Accommodating up to eight people the tariffs below are for the first 4 guests - allowing for 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.
Additional guests are only $50 per stay - not per night but per stay. They can stay a week and still only pay $50.
Standard Rate - Sunday to Thursday - $425 per night
Weekends & School Holidays - $450 per night
Peak - $595 per night
If available we will take one night bookings - a surcharge will apply.
This tariff is all inclusive with linen (including glorious goose down pillows), towels & exclusive toiletries.
If guests utilize the third or fourth bedroom there is a charge of $50 per bedroom to cover laundry of extra linen and cleaning.
Tariff for longer stays is negotiable.
Peak rates apply for public holiday breaks and special events and minimum stays are lengthened.
This applies to the following breaks:
- Long Weekends & Special Events - 3 night minimum stay
- Easter & Melbourne Cup - 4 night minimum stay
- Christmas Fortnight - by negotiation
For Booking for Peak times payment in full is required one month prior to arrival.
Pets
To cater for people who like to travel with their pets our FULLY FENCED cottage has been deliberately set up with their needs in mind. Only you can access your own private garden and pets are welcome inside. The pet tariff is $40 per pet per stay (not per night, but per stay) - to cover the extra cleaning for health regs. etc because we let the pets inside this set aside cottage.
Doggy sitting is available - day and night. The tariff for pet sitting is $5 per pet per hour during the day at a location 2 minutes away. This allows your dog to socialize as there could be other dogs at this other location. If you wish to have your pet doggy sat at Abacus (i.e. in your cottage) the cost is $35 for 3 hours - this is available day or night. The in-house tariff is the same for up to 2 dogs.
To minimize disturbance to other guests dogs under no circumstances to be left unattended. Doggy sitting is available - day and night.
Doggy Cleaning
Please note additional fees apply to excessive dog hair and dirt on furniture. Similarly extra charges will apply if we have to collect your dog droppings or bones from the garden. Please take 5 minutes before you leave to check furniture and rugs are fur free and all droppings and bones are collected in bags and placed in the bin.
Deposits, Cancellations & Cleaning
For stays of 2 nights payment in full is required at time of booking. For stays longer than 2 nights a deposit equivalent to 2 nights tariff is payable on booking - the balance of tariff being payable on arrival, other than for Peak Times.
For Peak Times full balance of payment is required 1 month prior to stay. Deposits may be made using Credit Cards - we accept Visa & Mastercard - Direct Deposit, Cheque or Money Order.
We reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to an extra night for late checkouts and accommodation left in a messy/untidy state. This includes unwashed dishes, smoking inside, damage to property, excessive dog hair or dirt on furniture and doggy droppings not picked up.
